A guy with grit and some frunky-as beats (thats fresh x funky!) is Kirin J Callinan and he's on his way to our backyards to shake-up and shake-down the walls of The Zoo this month! This tour will take him around the UK, Europe, the US of A (supporting none other then Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti) and then to our home turf and the land of the long white cloud.

DRAMA SPORT.
You're in the middle of a pretty big tour - what has been the highlight for you so far, and what are you really looking forward to?
THE CAMARADERIE AND THE CHAOS, SEEING MORE OF USA IN THE FLESH.
How do you prepare for a show?
SET UP, TUNE MY GUITAR, CHECK EVERYTHING WORKS. NO THOUGHT.
Who would you most like to collaborate with (living or dead) and why?
THOMAS DOLBY, OF 25 YEARS AGO. SCREEN KISS / I LOVE YOU (GOOD BYE) / ALL OF PREFAB'S STEVE MCQUEEN.
Where can we find you on a typical day off?
I DON'T WORK FOR A COMPANY, DON'T CLOCK ON CLOCK OFF, DON'T HAVE CIGGY BREAKS OR HOLIDAY LEAVE. SO NO DAYS OFF BE IN ME.
What's the most rewarding thing about what you do?
THE EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH STRANGERS, AND THE MONEY EXCHANGED FOR IT.
